We will be working on dialing the new jump lines with some shaping, watering and packing. Bring a shovel and help finish the jumps!
FTTRC gals are partnering with the Bike Hub for Women's only rides this year.
We'll meet at Beacon, at the Camp Sekani main parking, the last Weds of every
month, 5.45 pm, 6 pm roll out.
This ride is for the gal who has gotten a taste of the dirt, and is excited to become a better mountain biker. We’ll explore the easy parts of Beacon Hill in a short singletrack loop with some climbing and descending, working on skills as we go.
This ride is geared towards the progressing beginner/intermediate rider who wants to learn skills in a fun, supportive environment.
Novices and riders interested in very easy trails with minimal challenges and little climbing will want to watch for our Riverside ride later this summer.

The Beacon Hill Recreation Area Trail Map is now available for purchase for $8 at Mountain Gear, Bike Hub, Bicycle Butler, Wheel Sport (all branches), Two Wheel Transit and North Division. Sales of the map are a fundraiser for FTTRC and helps support local trails.
You can see a preview of the map here
The two-sided, full-color map shows trails, access points, points of interest, parks, land ownership and community connections. One side of the map is an overview of the entire trail system, and the other side focuses on Camp Sekani mountain bike park. The installation of trail markers to correspond with the map has just begun and will be completed over the next few years.

We are a bunch of folks who like to have fun with mountain bikes. Not all of us wear lycra - some of us like air, big bikes and baggy shorts. No one gets graded on the bike they ride, the number of crashes they suffer, or how fast (or slow) they can ride. What we have in common is a love for riding trails, a desire to make cool new trails, and a commitment to keeping trails open for biking. Whatever your style, we invite you to join our growing community.
